Description
Located north of the village, on the Brochon side, this parcel is adjacent to the estate and exclusively cultivated by us. It is a rare example of a true clos, entirely enclosed by walls. Officially classified only at the village appellation level, its wine quality and consistent character merit a higher hierarchy. Two-thirds of the vines were planted in 1922, and the remaining third in 1945. The grapes are often millerandé (small berries), with yields rarely exceeding 20 hl/ha. Aging lasts 18 months on fine lees in barrels, with up to 70% new oak.
